Look at all the dust here!

Well folk(s), as evidenced by the fact that i have not posted here since july, i have been busy. Fourth year engineering is not my friend. Thankfully, the worst part of it is now over.

So much has happened in the last few months, so i'll have a lot to write about now when (if) i get around to it. Here is a list to remind myself if i feel like writing in the next few weeks. The clever part of this plan is that, if i don't feel like writing - i won't be reminded. Perfect.

1) Lois Bujold's Sci-Fi books. Once i got started, i read 6 of them in 3 weeks. Yes, the same 3 weeks i was writing my all-important 50% report for my engineering project. I recommend all the ones i haven't read yet - because i want to read them after you.

2) Developments within the Pirate Party have been slow, but they haven't been non-existent. My outlook for the future of the party roughly follows a sine wave with a wavelength of 2 weeks and an offset 0.3 times its amplitude.

3) Chang'e 2 is cool. Especially how much media access there has been, compared with Chang'e 1.

4) I just reached +80% on Ipredict :D (Check)

5) I decided astrophysics might make a nice little career diversion for me. Well, if my application is successful. I already know i like Western Australia. EDIT: My application was successful, i am going to Perth for 3 months to find distant galaxies :D

6) I'm trying to work out how to fit a bicycle powered propeller on a boat - in a way which allows the boat to be carried on a bike on land.

7) This guy, and different ways things could have been different.
